What the day looks like
- Your phone rings later that day. It's a roofer asking a few questions: where the stain is, which shingles blew off, when the storm hit, how old the roof might be. Then you pick a visit slot, typically within one or two days; storm weeks can move faster.
- At the house, expect about an hour. Ladder up for the slopes that are safe to walk, a flashlight in the attic, a tape on every plane of the roof. Anything flagged gets photographed so you see it too.
- Before they leave or by the next day, the sheet arrives. Itemized, valid 30 days, with repair and replacement priced side by side when both make sense. Storm damage? You'll hear whether a claim seems worthwhile before you phone the insurer.
What the sheet lists
- Tear-off and haul-away
- Decking at a per-sheet price, used only if needed
- Underlayment and ice-and-water membrane
- New flashing, drip edge and pipe boots
- Shingles or metal, by product name
- Ventilation work
- The permit, for Mecklenburg County replacements and wherever else one is required
Dripping right now?
Skip the form and phone (704) 741-0702. Mention the leak. Covering the roof comes before pricing it.
No charge for an estimate anywhere we work: the city, the rest of Mecklenburg, the Lake Norman towns, Union County and the York County side of the state line. The service area page lists the towns.
